Wine Tasting & Cooking Glasses in the Monastery (Chania Area)

 

Α unique tour that combines wine tasting and cooking classes all taking place in a magical place in a monastery near the city of Chania. The monastery cultivates 17 hectares of vineyards. Among the wines, the local variety of  Romeiko is singular with its special white dry, red dry and sweet wine. The varieties of Trebbiano, Muscat of Alexandria, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot have adapted to the microclimate of the area and give a unique collection of 11 different wines. in our program, you have the opportunity to try five different local wine varieties. In the beautiful olive grove, visitors will be able to wander through the small farm and vegetable garden. With fresh local ingredients and ingredients from the garden, they will have the opportunity to cook Cretan traditional dishes themselves.
