Knossos palace, Olive oil experience, Heraklion city

Knossos Palace:
built in 2000 BC. Knossos was the prosperous Minoan Capital and the residence of King Minos. Some believe that the intricate Palace with its many rooms was the mythical labyrinth. By discovering the site not too long ago, archaeologists found the first advanced civilisation in Europe.
The driver will indicate where you can buy your tickets, and you can explore Knossos Palace for one hour

Olive oil tasting experience:
After Knossos, we will reach a traditional oil farm. The farm’s land includes hundreds of ancient olive trees cultivated since the 1900s. A friendly staff welcome you to the oil grove, guide you to the facilities and explains the production of oil at all stages. Finally, you will have the opportunity to try 3 different types of oil in combination with Cretan delicacies, as well as the famous balsamic vinegar.

Admission excluded. In this stop, you will visit an Olive oil factory and taste the famous liquid Gold of Crete.

Heraklion city:
There will be time to visit the market, the shops, have lunch and visit the Venetian port of Heraklion. The old castle Koules is built on two tiers and offers a commanding view of Heraklion from the battlements. Walking in the old town, we reach St. Titus' Cathedral, an impressive sight. The Loggia is a wonderful example of a Venetian building.
