Perivolia is a coastal village located 2 km east of the town of Rethymno is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean.

This long sandy beach is actually a natural continuation of Rethymno beach. The beach is quite well organized with plenty of hotels and other types of accommodation in front of the beach itself.

Plenty of entertainment, food and drinking options are available at the beach. Nightlife bars also abound in this area and you will find facilities for swimming, sea sports and sun-bathing (umbrellas and sunbeds).

You could access the beach from Rethymno by taxi, public bus, rental cars or motorbikes. A better alternative could be walking it up from the city centre to the beach.
