Petres

The beaches of Episkopi and Petres are quite large and mainly sandy.
One can go to these beaches by the national road to Chania and the ride is about 20 minutes.

Several hotels are built close to this beach to take advantage of its beauty. Because the beach is long, it has not been organized to every spot where there are visitors. So, the spots where there is organization, either because of a hotel or because of the local authority, provide lifeguards for the safety of visitors, as well as umbrellas and sunbeds for rent. There are also some beach bars or restaurants for food and drink.
